Every Verdict, On the Table
We evaluate each system against the same five checkpoints. Every score is traceable to a published spec. No placement fees, no score adjustments for commissions.
By Tim Parker — Reads the spec sheets and prices the full install
Reviews are published when we have enough published spec data to score all five checkpoints honestly. If a manufacturer will not publish flow rates, media volume, or certification scope, we note the gap rather than guess. Our evaluation method explains the full rubric. Our affiliate disclosure lists every brand we earn from.
Some brands cannot be scored this way because they publish no specs and no prices at all. Culligan is the big one — it sells through local dealers and quotes only after an in-home visit, so instead of a score we published what a Culligan water softener quote actually covers and the listed-price alternatives you can compare it against.
